I write because I’ve been called to bring anthems! If it is in the hardest moment, the darkest day, the best day, or the loudest praise, I want to bring you an anthem that will spur you on, closer to Christ than you were before. The vision for my music is that I would bring anthems to all of the brothers and sister, but specifically the people Jesus talks about in the Sermon on the Mount.The poor in spirit, the mourning, the righteous, the in pain, in suffering, the broken, the seeking, the lost. This is my calling. This is why it is my joy to write music to the Lord! I write music from a personal place of learning, praying, and all the trials from the human experience. I want these songs to speak of the pain that we may experience, the joy that we may experience, hardships, peace, perseverance, and so much more. Ultimately, I want my songs to redirect our eyes back to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith! I believe if we right from both scripture, and the human experience, it will push us to pursue the Lord to a greater degree, and in our valley of the shadow of death. A scripture that I think of when I ponder the ministry is James 1:2-3 “² Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,^[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, ³ because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
